Hi there. I am not sure if you know Curtis Coleman ... he's a friend of ours in the Burning Man community.

Friends of Curtis is a community effort to support singer/songwriter Curtis Coleman as he battles squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive cancer attacking his neck and throat. Last year, Curtis’ musical performances helped tens of thousands of children to learn about safety and expressing their own voices. Now, he may lose his own voice forever. Together we can help prevent that.

I have a huge favor to ask of you. We're putting together a FUNdraiser for Curtis, on March 5 at SOMArts in San Francisco. As part of this we are having a silent auction to let people take home some cool items while leaving some more of their cash behind LOL.

I think burning man portraits are an awesome choice for an auction item. It is non-commercial -- we're giving all money directly to Curtis. You would get a display sheet with your name/web site on it and if you like, the right to display your business cards right next to your art.
